The best decision I made this week was eating bacon baps in a field at sunrise. 

Admittedly, I’m currently unemployed, so the competition wasn’t fierce*. You may have negotiated a merger or performed complex heart surgery. I put butter on bread in a cow field and felt briefly in command of my life.

Since sleeping in a den with Luna, I’ve been looking for more ways to smuggle adventure into the school week. Routines are necessary, I understand this, but occasionally you need to interfere with the machinery before you find yourself living the same Tuesday for seventeen years.

The idea arrived halfway through dinner on Wednesday.
