I first bumped into Ross and Kyri at Kendal Mountain Festival last year. They'd recently launched a print magazine called Dayhike, celebrating the people, places and stories that make getting outside worth it across the British Isles.
I bloody love what they're building. It feels like a much-needed antidote to the performance culture that's stirs inside outdoor media; less "look what I climbed!", more "grab your bag and come join us!". I somehow found myself in the second issue too.
They live in Cheshire with their three year old son, Riley. Between raising a toddler and holding down day jobs, they're putting together one of the freshest outdoor mags in the country. The world needs more community hearted go-getters like Ross and Kyri.
